Impacts and Problems of Architectural Education Observations from the Perspective of Generational Shift of Chinese Architects

With a view of the impact of professional architectural education on architects in generational shift, this paper investigates architectural education in China since 1977, especially the relationship between the academic schooling and professional practice of the architects born in the late 1960s and mid-1970s. The paper also offers an analysis of the course of development of contemporary Chinese architectural education and its problems and solutions, with references to a few keywords.
