Abstract:It is shown that the design of the reactor control scheme used in BN-600-type power-producing systems does not provide for the operation of a nuclear power plant in the base and peak regimes. A design of the control scheme for a power system with regulatable circulation of the coolant in the first loop of the reactor that allows a nuclear power plant to operate in the base and peak regimes are presented and substantiated.
