Abstract: | The systems approach to management has a sound basis in the management theories put forward by William Shakespeare through the words of characters in his plays. Following on from the previous articles in this series the author suggests that in this form of management, someone has to want it all to work-want it so much that others, who wished they could do it but can't, suddenly find themselves doing it. Success in a venture may be facilitated by good management techniques, but a good spur works better. The missing element is force of leadership. The author discusses leadership from the perspective of the play Henry V by Shakespeare, identifying leadership skills |
