| Abstract: | This paper is a study of the interrelationship between copper and magnetite content of reverberatory slags. During an experimental run converter slag was withheld from a reverberato ry, resulting in much cleaner waste slags. The possibilities of treating converter slags outside the normal copper smelting circuit are briefly discussed. |
