摘    要:在多用工程车训练模拟系统研究中,动态地形的实时可视化是重点也是难点。研究了现有层次细节( LOD)地形生成算法特点。根据动态地形要求,为了适应现有系统图形硬件的处理能力,在GeoMipMap算法基础上提出了一种多分辨率动态地形算法。该算法能较好地生成连续LOD地形模型,支持高度场和亮度的实时变化。通过实验证明了算法的可行性和有效性,已在系统中应用。

Abstract:The real time visualization of the dynamic terrain is the key point in the development of the vehicle training simulation system. The character of existing level of detail (LOD) terrain algorithms were studied. In order to meet the dynamic terrain requirements and adapt to the current system graphic hardware performance, a novel multi-resolution dynamic terrain algorithm based on ^e- oMipMap algorithm was proposed. Tl he novel algorithm can better generate continuous LOD terrain model, and support real time changes of height field and brightness. The experimental result proves the novel algorithm applied to visualization system to be feasible and efficient.
