| Abstract: | The aging of 1, 2-polybutadiene raw rubber ( 1,2-PB ) in hot oxygen atmosphere was studied. The results showed that the stability of 1,2-PB to hot oxygen decreased with the increase of its syndiotactic 1,2-vinyl unit content. The thermal oxidation stability of 1,2-PB was better than those of cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber, SBR and natural rubber. In addition, the antioxidants suitable to be used with 1,2-PB were evaluated and selected. |
