| Abstract: | The present paper discussed problem about further reduction of hot roll consumption by adopting a number of new technologies which involve proper selection of roll material, speed-up of application of new roll material, stringent management on the rolls, popularization of roll surface repair and hardening technique, improvement in the cooling conditions for rolls and development in the new hot-lubrication rolling process. |
