| Abstract: | Problems elucidated in the present paper include (1) Knowledge of ingot which is valuable for better understanding of the quality of continuously cast steel; (2) Shape defects in the continuously cast steel and quality problems concerned; (3) Effects of Ca and Al in FeSi on nozzle clogging; and (4) Proper selection of the mould flux. |
