Abstract: | Abstract The yellow substance absorption in the coastal waters of the Gulf of Naples was measured by a method combining beam transmission and induced fluorescence measurements. A water optical model specific to that test area, derived from experimentation carried out in situ has been used to evaluate the impact of the measured yellow substance absorption on the remote sensing of water quality parameters, such as chlorophyll-like pigment and total suspended sediment concentrations. |
