| Abstract: | A completely new approach for the joining of technical textiles has been taken by using the newly developed laser sewing machine. This machine offers a multiplicity of advantages and through the possibility of 3D-processing, the fabrication of new products. For certain applications, the laser welding can even offers a replacement for the sewing process. |
