First-mode properties of N-story buildings

First-mode properties of $\text{N-}\text{story}$ buildings determined from a standard computer program possess certain simple relationships which can be displayed graphically by straight lines. Structures investigated include uniform buildings and buildings with reduced first floor stiffness. Some of the results presented are verified analytically from difference equations.
