| Abstract: | Some methods and measures for prolonging the service life of the cold working die of Cr12MoV steel are introduced on the aspects of improving the raw material by forging, pre-heat-treatment, quenching and tempering, cryogenic treatment and surface strengthening. Practical examples showed that the die life can be greatly prolonged by adoption of these methods and measures. |
