Abstract:Studies on the UV-Spectra of Autoxidized Fats III The author has determined the various properties of oxidized oils and fats with relation to the first maximum of extinction E1 according the direct UV-method (E1cm1%). Following fats and oils were investigated: sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, peanut oil, soybean oil, corn oil, lard, butter, beef tallow and hardened edible fat.
