Spurious oscillations in IMPATT oscillators |

| Abstract: | Incorrect circuit design of cavity-controlled IMPATT oscillators may cause low-frequency instabilities and frequency jumping, which are simply avoidable. A simple technique for identifying the avalanche resonance frequency of packaged IMPATT oscillators is also described. |
