摘    要:结构造型技术通过改进现有特征造型方法和产品模型表示法,实现了装配模型与零件模型的统一.论述了结构造型技术的基本概念、性质和设计原则,提出了基于结构造型的CAD软件架构和建模方法,并详细讨论了产品模型的维护策略和流程控制方法.该方法已用于KMCAD3D系统,实践证明该系统可以有效地维护设计意图,简化模型维护算法;人机交互操作步骤少,避免了重复数据输入,与传统特征造型系统相比,设计效率提高2~3倍.

Abstract:By comprehensive analysis of shortcomings and limitations of current feature modeling systems (both commercial and prototype), a novel modeling method, namely structure modeling, is presented. The method improves the product model representation and scheme maintenance efficiency by integrating the assembly model and part model. In addition, it can guarantee the design intent of a specific task consistently in entire design process. The crucial issues of concepts, properties and design principles of the given method are discussed. Furthermore, the maintenance strategies of model and data flow control are elaborated as well, which have been implemented based on our previous research project, namely KMCAD3D system. The advantages of the presented method can be found as follows: the model maintenance algorithm is simpler than current 3D modeling system; the system is robust and practical; and the design efficiency can be raised at least two to three times.
