From the energy equation for the steady and gradually varied flow; this paper derives a method of graphing river level curves with the absolute elevation and the equalized integrated curve of the cross-section characteristics of the river; and illustrates the calculating and graphing steps of the method by an example. To the same river section, the absolute elevation and the equalized integrated curve of the cros section characteristics of the river are the same. So the curve can be used repeatedly. And the river level can be easily and directly figured out by the curve in the course of the river level calculation of different standard designs.
