| Abstract: | The loss of urban characters in new urban development is a common phenomenon.This paper examines urban morphology that is most important to contemporary city building,and sums up the regulation and mechanism in the transformation of urban morphology.In addition,the paper also analyses the reasons behind the loss of urban characters and the corresponding strategies of revival. |
