Abstract:The caustic alkali corrosion stated in the geotechnical investigation code is different from the commonly said caustic alkali-aggregate reaction corrosion, the latter belongs to the corrosion formed from the overproof of caustic alkali in the concrete aggregate, and unrelated to the investigation work. In the said code, the caustic alkali corrosion is expressed by OH -, but in the analysis report for soluble salt in water or soil, the OH - can not represent the real content of caustic alkali in water or soil. So it is necessary to proceed the treatment and calculation of salt form presentation according to the analysis report, so as to obtain the real content of caustic alkali in water or soil.
