| Abstract: | This paper introduces and reviews the connotation of the law and code with respect to public participation in the environmental impacts assessment. The approaches of, and advances in, public participation at home and abroad are summarized. Based on the practices and experiences obtained, some issues worth attention on public participation should be addressed in environmental impacts assessment during the siting of nuclear power station. |
