| Abstract: | A low conduction loss, low-cost zero-voltage-transition-pulsewidth modulation (ZVT-PWM) boost converter with a zero current switching (ZCS) auxiliary circuit is developed to achieve high-conversion-efficiency operation. The unique locations of the resonant capacitor and inductor ensure that low switching stress and commutation losses are obtained in this converter.
