| 摘 要： | 从城市现代化的内涵出发，利用统计数据和问卷调查数据，运用数学方法，提出了由经济现代化，社会现代化，人的现代化，市场化程度和科技信息化等五个部分组成的指标体系，力求层次分明，简洁明了，方便比较和操作，在此指标体系框架下，以广西四个大城市为例，对城市现代化水平进行了综合评价，对各级指标的现代化水平进行了分析。

| Abstract: | Based on the conceptof urban modernization and in termof data and interview, this papertries to set up an index system thatevaluates urban modernizationmore accurately. It is composed offive parts, namely modernizationof economy, modernization ofsociety, modernization of citizen,marketing level and technologyinformation. To examine thesystem, the author takes four largecities in Guangdong Province as anexample, evaluating their level ofmodernization. |
