| Abstract: | As a biodegradable polymer material,the polylactic acid(PLA) and its basic properties were briefly introduced,and the recent studies of the two ways of synthesis: ring-opening polymerization and direct polycondensation of polylactic acid were reviewed.The development prospects of polylactic acid were also discussed. |
