脆性材料弯曲强度与抗拉强度的关系研究

摘    要:陶瓷材料抗拉强度的测试技术一直是个难以解决的问题,而抗弯强度的测定则已经较成熟且简便。本文分析了弯曲破坏与拉伸破坏的机理和差异,以均匀介质为对象导出弯曲与拉伸强度的理论关系,并结合损伤和Weibull统计理论推出具有实用性的弯曲与拉伸强度关系。从而为确定脆性材料拉伸强度提供了一种间接方法。

Abstract:The measuring technique of tensile strength of ceramics is usually sophisticated, but it is easy for us to measure the bending strength of ceramics. In this paper, the failure mechanism of bending and tensile state as well as their difference were discussed. The theoretic and practical relation between bending strength and ten- sile strength was derived, it is relevant with the configuration and size of bending specimen and the behavior of materials. A simple indirect method is provided for the evaluation of tensile strength of ceramics.
