| Abstract: | The development of polycarboxylic acids as nonformaldehyde durable press finishing agents has been reviewed. The DP performance of fabric finished with polycarboxylic acids and the mechanism of esterfication between polycarboxylic acids and cotton cellulose were discussed. At last, the new trends of polycarboxylic acids as durable press finishing agents were also mentioned. |
