| Abstract: | Being an organic combination of testing and pragmatics, pragmatic testing is a brand-new field in language testing. This paper presents an introduction of pragmatic testing, on the basis of which its application to oral English testing is discussed. Furthermore, types of test items and practical ways of evaluation are put forward for further consideration. |
