Abstract:Despite the great progress achieved in orthopaedic biomaterial in the past several decades,the perfusion and ingrowth of the collagen osteoblast into the prosthetic bioengineering materials remains a problem that awaits further investigation.It has been shown that there is a close correlation between the preparation,hence the geometric and biophysico-mechanical properties of the prosthetic biomaterial(implants)and their fixation to the bone host.In this review,an attempt was made to summarize miscellaneous ...
