摘    要:以马来酸酐改性PVA为分散剂,丙烯酸(AA)、苯乙烯(St)、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)为单体,利用无皂核壳乳液聚合技术制备了一种弱阴离子乳液表面施胶剂。讨论了反应条件的变化对乳液稳定性及施胶应用效果的影响,确定了较佳的合成条件:采用种子聚合法,m(AA):m(St):m(BA)=4:15:6,引发剂=3%,反应温度70~80℃,反应时间6h。DSC测量出玻璃化温度为40.02℃。聚合物乳液在纸上施胶后纸张的施胶度相对原纸可以提高3倍,平滑度、耐破度、抗张力相对于SAE施胶剂分别提高24%、21%、10%。

Abstract:The sizing agent of weak anionic emulsion was prepared by using maleic anhydride modified PVA as a dispersant,the emulsifier-free emulsion copolymerization of acrylic acid(AA),styrene(St),butyl acrylate(BA) as monomers.The effect of reaction conditions on the stability of the latex and sizing performance was discussed.The results show that the optimum reaction conditions are determined as follows:seed polymerization,m(AA)/m(St)/m(BA)=4:15:6,initiating agent=3%,reaction temperature70~80℃,reaction time 6h.DSC characterizes the glass transition temperature(40.02℃) of resulting copolymer.The sizing degree after sizing with the polymer emulsion on paper can be increased by 3 times compared with SAE sizing,while the bursting strength,smoothness,and tensile strength are increased by 24%,21%,10% respectively.
