| Abstract: | The connecting-rod bearings of S195 diesel engines in trial running suffered rapid earlyabrasive wear, a harmful trouble caused by concealed factors. In this paper elaboration is made on theways in which we have ascertained the elusive cause eventually and overcome this big difficultypromptly, via spot trouble-shooting and by seeking true from facts, after failing to search out thesolution through tests carried out continuously for tackling key problems. |
