Abstract:The middle and shallow layers are the main reservoirs in western Sichuan.Due to the perennial heavy production task,the well testing works usually can’t be implemented.Being short of well testing data makes the information of caculating the reasonable production of gas well be lack.In practice,1/3 to 1/5 open-flow capacity is offen used as the reasonable production.But it is showed that this experience method always has obvious error.Sometimes,the production is even lower than 1/5 open-flow capacity,the wellhead pressure still descends quickly and the stable production period is very short.For this situation,a new approximation method of estimating reasonable production of gas well is proposed,which is based on the flow material balance method used to calculate the well control reserves.Firstly,an approximation function relationship is established between the well headpressure descending rate and the gas production,then a statistic reasonable pressure descending rate from large numbers of producing data can be used to calculate the reasonable production.Testing and application results indicate that this method is relatively easy and precise.It can be used as the reference of production allocation.
