Abstract:A new method of speed observation based on MRAS sliding mode control was presented in order to obtain high precision speed observation for asynchronous motors.It consists of three parts:the reference model,the adjustable model and the sliding mode controller.The sliding mode controller uses the estimated rotor flux difference of the reference model and the adjustable model to calculate the speed of motor.In the method,the reference model uses a modified voltage model,an effective model to solve the inherent DC offset voltage error and integral error of the initial value problem to achieve an accurate flux and speed observation.The simulation results verify that the method has a fast response and high accuracy.Besides,it is robust to the variation of motor parameters.
