| Abstract: | The heat treatment process and microstructure of isothermal quenched ductile iron was described.The difference between its microstructure and bainite of steel was analyzed.It was pointed out that "austempered ductile iron"is not a proper term.For this new type of cast iron,we need a correct Chinese term:"ausferrite ductile iron"or "austenite isothermal quenched ductile iron". |
