Sasatoya Shibuya graduated in 1968 from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Second Faculty of Engineering, Kanto Gakuin University. He joined the EHV Electric Power Research Institute in April 1974 and then the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry in July 1977;2. and was an Entrusted Researcher on the Faculty of Engineering, Nagoya University, from September 1983 to March 1984. He is engaged mainly in research on large-current arc phenomena in power apparatus and arc plasma application technology. Tadashi Amakawa obtained a Master's degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Waseda University, in March 1984 and joined the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry in April of the same year. Kiyoshi Sano obtained a Master's degree from Kobe University in March 1971, and joined Shikoku Electric Power Co. in April of the same year. Since then he has been engaged in power transmission related business. He became a Section head in the Second Power Transmission Department at the company's Shikoku Central Trunk Line Construction Office in October 1982, Deputy Head of the Power Transmission Department of the company's Power Transmission and Transformation Division in March 1987, an a Department Head of the Power Transmission Department of the Shikoku Central Trunk Line Construction Office in May 1988.;5. Sakae Kimura graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Hiroshima University in March 1972. He joined the Shikoku Electric Power Co. in April 1972. Since then he has been engaged in power transmission related studies. He became a Head of the Design Section of the Power Transmission Department of the company's Shikoku Central Trunk Line Construction Office in March 1987, and a Deputy Head of the Power Transmission Department of the company's Power Transmission and Transformation Division in April of 1991. |
