Abstract: | This special issue serves as a benchmark of psychotherapy, on the occasion of the Centennial of the American Psychological Association. It reflects current theoretical insights, attitudes and approaches to research, and research findings. Further, it deals with the training of psychotherapists and how therapists practice today. The journal itself was created in 1964, and has become a major contributor to the discipline of psychology. The articles are inviting and challenging and give us the opportunity to reflect on the wondrous process of psychotherapy. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved) |
