| Abstract: | The present paper introduces the process for hot metal desulphurization by granulated magnesium without any other additives, discusses the mechanism of desulphurization by Mg and studies and analyzes effects of the grain size of granulated Mg, submerged depth of the injection gun, hot metal temperature, initial sulphur content in the hot metal and carrier gas volume on the desulphurization results. |
