摘    要:从"质"与"量"入手,论述了在英语教学与学习过程中提高阅读理解能力的两种途径:强化输入与文化适应,强化输入表明了"量"的重大作用,文化适应反映了"质"的变化规律.

Abstract:The paper analyzes the two ways to improve reading comprehension ability in English teaching and learning from the two aspects which are the combination of "quality" and "quantity" and the combination of increasing input and acculturation. The relationship between the two aspects is that the input hypothesis indicates the importance of "quantity" and the acculturation model reflects the change regularity of "quality".
