| Abstract: | Shortly after the 550 Rolling Mill Reducing Gear of Wire Rod Mill was put into operation, the gear was broken and lost its effectiveness. This article analyses the reason by theory calculating and material analysis, thus providing the reference on the eventual of reoccuring of the similar problem. |
