DESIGN ON REVAMP OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FACILITY IN No.1 SINTERING PLANT AND ITS MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

The major repair and revamp project of No.1 Sintering Plant is the key project of WISCO in 2000 and also one of the five major guiding principles and objectives for year 2000 of the Corporation. The major repair and revamp of the environmental facility in No.1 Sintering Plant, which is rational in design, advanced in technologies and perfect in processes not only improves the environment of the Plant and ensures the production and health of the staff and workers, but also avoids the waste of resources by recovery of dust for resintering purpose and creates very favorable social, environmental and economical efficiencies. Centering around the progress of the sintering process the present paper introduces emphatically the design on the revamp of the environmental protection facility in No.1 Sintering Plant and its main characteristics.
