| Abstract: | A software structure for tool management was described here.The superfluous and repeated work canbe avoided when developing the tool management systems for the various FMS allocations and the differentworkpiece dispatching strategies.Additionally,a practical heuristic algorithm for on-line tool dispatching isbriefly introduced. |
