Design and Application of Electric Energy Meter Verification Device Considering Multi-specification Meter Terminal

At present,the specifications and dimensions of most imported gateway electric energy meters do not meet the technical specifications of the Southern Power Grid electric energy meters,which makes it difficult to directly crimp them to the meter terminals of the verification device when verifying meters of such type.It is necessary to connect lead wires from the voltage and current terminals of the meter,which will cause confusion of wiring in the laboratory,the risk of electric shock and low efficiency.Aimed at the above shortcomings,an electric energy meter verification device that considers multi-specification meter terminals is designed in this paper.The meter of the verification device can be directly connected to imported electric energy meters of various specifications and models such as Schneider,EDMI,ISKRA,Landis+Gry,etc.There is no need to manually connect the voltage and current leads when hanging the meter,which greatly improves the connection speed.Experiments show that this design effectively solves the problem of direct crimping of electric energy meters with different specifications,sizes and structural models,which greatly improves the efficiency and security of the crimping of electric energy meters.
