| Abstract: | haracters of silicon carbide whiskers,which include high stength,high hardness, high chemical stabil-ity and wear-resiSting, corrosion-resisting and good oxidate-resisting at high temperature and so on,are discussed in the paper.All kinds of ways of synthetizing silicon carbide whiskers are commented and the de-velopment and use of silicon carbide whiskers in or out of home are included. |
