| Abstract: | The history, market situation and the latest development status of plant hair dyes were reviewed and presented briefly. The functional features of plant hair dyes were compared against chemical hair dyes. The research work with respect to plant hair dyes of adsorptive colorant type as well as the complex type of active component of plant hair dye with metallic salt was introduced. The significance and promising prospect of plant hair dyes were forecasted. |
