| Abstract: | It was tested that water glass is an ideal binder to the pelletcontaining coal char. The effect of binder (water glass) on the reduction of pellet containing coal char in a nitrogen atmosphere and at the temperature between 900—1 200 ℃ was investigated. The kinetic analysis of experimental data indicates that water glass can promote the reduction of the pellet (the reduction should be controlled by the gas diffusion); The addition of water glass can′t change the reduction controlling-step but can decrease the resistance of this step.Key words：pellet containing carbon;water glass;reduction…… |
