Abstract:It is considered after the comprehensive analysis on engineering geological conditions for cavities of the Daliushu Water Control Project on Yellow River, that the cavity formation condition is available when adopting the reasonable construction methodology and advanced construction techniques and applying the suitable,stage 1 and stage 2 reinforcement measures. The surrounding rock will be stabilized when the cavity is being constructed and operated or under the seismic conditions.
