摘    要:FEM simulation is conducted for the foundation settlement of backfill slope of high bridge approach. On the basis of all kinds of stress contour sketches and data obtained from the site, a simple mechanical model is put forward toe xplain the reason of the settlement occurring after construction of bridge approach backfill slope.
