How to Produce Technical Textiles with High Energy-Efficiency
Abstract:Technical textiles, with properties of high-tech, high added value and wide application, are significant to the development of textile industry and the whole society. Nowadays, traditional textiles are weakened in some developed countries and regions, while high-tech technical textiles and high-end products are soaring. German is a leading country in hi-tech fiber, technical textiles and textile finishing technologies, especially in advanced textile machines. With their technologies, many textile machine manufacturers are able to provide excellent solutions of sustainability, energy efficiency and raw material efficiency. BLUECOMPETENCE, an initiative of VDMA, is the international trademark for sustainable solutions of the machinery and equipment construction sector – across the entire spectrum of industrial applications. This feature extracted part of this initiative, to help technical textile producers learn how to be high energy-efficiency.
