水镁石的鉴定

摘    要:随着珠宝市场的繁荣,高档玉石工艺品的价格越来越高,在促进其投资热潮的同时也增加了其仿冒品混入珠宝市场的几率.水镁石多用于Mg原料制备或其它工业材料中.在最近的日常检测工作中发现了水镁石仿寿山石与和田玉的工艺品.采用常规宝石学手段、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪、能量色散X射线荧光光谱仪分别对水镁石、软玉和玻璃样品进行了测试与分析.结果表明,水镁石的红外光谱特征对其鉴定具有诊断性意义,可与软玉、玻璃以及地开石和/或珍珠石型、叶蜡石型寿山石的相区别;借助红外光谱分析,初步推断了水镁石和软玉中次要的碳酸盐矿物.
