摘    要:低温加工是指在低温环境下进行的特殊制造过程,它利用低温下各种材料的物理化学性质,实现特定的加工目的,在许多场合下具有独到优点.对低温加工技术在光学、生物、化学、机械、电子和轻工业等行业中材料或器件的加工中的应用作了简要分析,并指出低温加工学有必要作为一门专门的学科来加以系统深入地研究.

Abstract:Cryo fabrication belongs to an alternative way of performing special manufacture, by taking use of the physical and chemical properties of various materials under low temperature conditions. It is playing a major role in many practical occasions. This article briefly summarized the applications of cryo fabrication in manufacturing the materials and devices in the areas of optics, biology, chemistry, mechanical engineering,electronics and light industry. It was proposed that cryo fabricaiton should be treated as a specialt subject and deeper and comprehensive researches are needed to promote its development.
