Abstract: | A strong promoting effect of the presence of C3H8 or C3H6 was determined for the CH4–SO2–O2 reaction, over pre-sulfated 1%Pt/γ–Al2O3 and pre-sulfated 1%Pt–2%Sn/γ–Al2O3 catalysts. These results suggest that over 1%Pt–2%Sn/γ–Al2O3 catalysts, small amounts of propane or propylene in the gas feed may eliminate methane emissions at low temperatures from
lean-burn NGV exhausts. |
