This paper briefly introduces advantages and disadvantages of the red pink powder and rare-earth polishing powder as the polishing materials,deeply introduces the development history,product scale,production technology,the process characteristics of rare-earth polishing powder industry of the Gansu Rare-Earth Group LTD,with contrast and analysis to other similar domestic and international rare-earth polishing powder production enterprises.According to different polishing materials requirement to rare-earth polishing powder quality,the classification and technology characteristics of rare-earth polishing powder are discussed in detail.Through the domestic and international production scale of rare-earth polishing powder enterprises and the industry application trend,the development direction and perspective of rare-earth polishing powder industry in Gansu Rare-earth Group Co LTD is put forward.
