| Abstract: | The 500 kV substation at North Beijing is a power project completed for Olympic Game Planning of Beijing. The technical and economical comparison has been carried out on determination of voltage grade and main wiring, selection of equipment, layout of substation and their optimization in the process of design. The final scheme is selected according to rationality of technique and economy. |
